Now that it’s November that means it’s time for Thanksgiving! In preparation for Thanksgiving, I am going to write 10 things I am thankful for this November.
- Flowers
- Nothing has been bringing me more joy this year than beautiful bouquets. I have been volunteering at a local place, Flower empower. They are given flowers bound for the trash and people come and make bouquets to give to people in need.
- Baking
- When I’m upset the first thing I do is bake. In short, this year has been filled with baking, the smells immediately lighten my mood.
- Tea
- This year I have been drinking mint tea every evening before bed, and everyone I have been drinking green tea. There is no better way for my body to start and end the day. If you have been feeling stressed I definitely suggest drinking regularly.
- Family
- I love my family, they love and support me always. Thank You! I am also thankful for My boyfriend Cameron, who I consider part of the family. He has made each and every day worth it.
- Dexter + This is Us
- I have been loving both of these shows. Dexter is about a serial killer and This is us is more of a sappy show. I Highly suggest watching both.
- Nature
- I am very thankful for the nature we have surrounding us. There’s no better way to unwind than taking a long walk on our local trails or on the beach
- Pictures
- Recently I have started to enjoy taking pictures. Not just being in them but also taking them. I am going to get a new camera soon after I have enough money and I’m super excited.
- Sugar
- Now I know this sounds like a weird one, but this has been a rough year and when I’m upset my go-to thing to do it bake. So I love sugar because what’s good baking without sugar!?
- Pens
- I want to learn calligraphy. That will probably be one of my new year’s resolutions. I think pens are the gateway to that. Pretty pens have also helped me get more organized because I’m now excited to write in my planner.
- Scrapbook
- Scrapbooking is very soothing and there is no better way to save memories. If you don’t scrapbook you should, it’s such a good way to pass time and will be amazing to look back on when older.
